TB Marine Norway expands to Singapore, at One15marina
GoOcean Pte Ltd., owned by Kent Tan, a 33-year-old, marine entrepreneur is merging into the business of boatbuilding.
Kent has been operating yacht services and management from the award winning One15marina Singapore, as well as bespoke project management.
He has built strong relationships with industry leaders, captains, their crew, and yacht owners, creating a solid reputation in the Marina.
This credibility is a well-founded base for TB Marine to infuse technology and knowledge and grow the Asian markets.
The Norwegians have been growing in the marine and marina industry in Asia since 2016. With marina developments in the gulf of Thailand there is high potential for growth in at least another three marinas in this location alone.
The vision for Thailand and Cambodia is to develop the marinas under the same ownership and brand and to open the gulf of Thailand to allow comfortable cruising between the marinas.
The first projects that are being planned to be developed is a line of commercial ferries from 8 - 30 meters, fully electric and hydrogen powered, including on/offshore refueling systems.
Production is planned in Indonesia, an hour by boat from Singapore in the tax-free zone.
